You may benefit from having a support team while living with a chronic condition(s). I enjoy helping clients build a support team including service providers, social connections, and family members based on what is comfortable for you. My main role is working with clients to learn techniques and their strengths to help them cope with stress, decrease depression and or anxiety, and grieve loss they have identified.

I use evidence-based (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because this modality has so many techniques and interventions to focus on; thoughts, behavior, emotions, sleep, pain, etc. These techniques can be easily incorporated into session discussions and practiced outside of session. My interests or specialty is chronic conditions related to pain, ptsd, physical health, sleep, and mood. Working with service members; active duty or veterans is an aspect of my private practice I am growing and proud to be able to include in my speciality.

When you are working with me you can expect to start treatment by telling me your story, your concerns and what you are hoping to achieve by seeking treatment at this time.
