Business Description

My name is Dr. Amber Beal often referred to as Dr A, Dr B and Dr Amber.  I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I provide therapeutic services virtually.  Clients have the power to overcome adversities, traumatic experiences and situations that negatively impact their lives. Sometimes, we just need that person who can walk with us, guide and support us until we arrive at a place of acceptance, healing, and wholeness and as your therapist, that is what I will provide!

I describe my approach as eclectic. I approach therapy from a person-centered perspective, and I believe in holding clients in a genuine, warm, and empathic environment. I believe in establishing a strong therapeutic alliance which is crucial for healing. I specialize in trauma, emotional eating, anxiety and depression.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and have a wide array of experience in psychological testing. Although my approach is person centered, my therapeutic interventions are tailored to fit each individual’s needs (CBT, DBT, talk therapy, EMDR, etc.). I have worked with many clients some as young as 4 years old to a more mature clientele.
