Business Description

My name is Simone and I am the founder and owner of BeYoutiful Pleasures Cosmetics. BeYoutiful Pleasures is a Chicago based beauty brand created to not just enhance the beauty of the everyday woman, but to give women a safe place to express themselves artistically through makeup. A lot of the times we as women allow the media to alter our opinion of what we assume is beauty, instead of expressing what we really see as beauty. We let the media tell us that melanated woman shouldn’t wear bright pink colors but should stick to nudes because it complicates her skin tone better. Instead of sticking to what society tells us, I’m here to support the melanated beauty in challenging this theory because it’s how she chooses to freely express herself. The brand is about self expression. You rock the brand the way you see fit.

Being an African American woman myself, it is important for my brand to not only make you feel good, but to educate as well. Most of my products are hand made so that I’m able to not only enhance your beauty, but to promote healthy glowing skin along the way. Products such as my Lip Balm are made from raw organic mango butter, and essential oils  such as avocado oil, vitamins E oil and coconut oil; these products not only have healing properties but also hydrates the skin. Our hand made Lip Creams are made from vegan bases and vegan mica colorants. My goal is to touch as many lives as possible to show them how to properly care for their skin, all while making them feel beautiful.
