Caring for Citizens of Alabama, Inc. is a vital 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Montgomery, Alabama. We serve low-income families across the state and help individuals realize their dreams of fulfilling careers while providing necessary wrap-around services. Our mission is to holistically improve the lives of those at-risk and under-served across Alabama. Our services are designed to heal those broken by poverty, abuse, and homelessness. Since our inception in 2106, we have positively impacted more than 3,000 households monthly of our citizens of Alabama through our efforts in hunger relief, homelessness prevention, and job readiness and placement services.
Caring for Citizens of Alabama, Inc. seeks community support in its goal to lift our Alabama neighbors in need out of poverty and into prosperity and self-sufficiency. Our main program focuses on workforce development aimed at helping low-income individuals gain the skills necessary for
a successful career path, including basic computer skills, customer service training, and professional licensures and training. Our goal is to empower those coming to us for assistance through partnerships with job placement services in the area. Caring for Citizens of Alabama also hosts a monthly drive-thru food pantry, along with a brick-and-mortar pantry located at our E. South Blvd. center to address the prevalent hunger issues in our community.
