Business Description

Founded in 2010, F.A.T.E. has worked with youth between the age of 10-17 who are
interested in arts and performing arts.

Historically the youth would work from March through October, rehearsing on the weekends
in spaces available to the community, singing in front of their peers to hone their skills and
develop their confidence, creating and designing clothes, and writing poetry to perform and
showcase their talent during an annual showcase in November.

Funding these annual events was made possible through the support of various businesses
in Wisconsin and our major sponsor, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. These external funds
made up approximately 70% of the funding necessary to produce the events. The rest of the
funding came from my personal financial contributions, event tickets sales, and parent
donations, including radio donated air-time to promote the annual events in the community.

In November 2019, F.A.T.E. became registered and approved nonprofit – 501(c)3. F.A.T.E.
has been working to re-establish the organization under the structure of the law, including
establishing our Board of Directors.

F.A.T.E. currently has four (4) board members. The members of the board have a vast
variety and experience in education, and/ or working directly with youth in the community.
The elected board members share the same compassion and commitment to providing arts
and performing arts opportunities for youth in the community; I am excited for the future of the
organization.

MISSION
F.A.T.E.’s mission is to provide youth the outlet to express themselves: it elicits creativity; it
recognizes their potential; it provides them with the venue to showcase their talents. Fashion,
Art, and Teen Entertainment present teens with the opportunity to realize their fate: what
they’re destined to be.

VISION
The decline in music and arts programs in Wisconsin’s Greater Milwaukee area has created a
void that F.A.T.E. believes needs to be filled. F.A.T.E.’s vision is to provide a positive support
system that could help youth avoid pitfalls that can disrupt their lives by offering a space
where they will have the opportunity to explore, improve and develop their talents in arts &
performing arts.
