Statement of Qualifications
Gourmet Paper Plates(GPP) is a full service catering company based in Lancaster CA. We are adaptable and can accommodate most menu ideas. We work with customers to design menu items to fit event themes.
We turn basic fare into equisite cuisine. We can deliver specialty items to fit within your budget. We give equal focus to presentation,preparation and of course taste sensation. We exhibit diligence, patience and attention to detail in all of our events.
Peggy Whyte and Alexandra Dejean, came together over 5 years ago because of our equal love for both God’s people and food. Our combined vision to provide gourmet food that feeds the soul at an affordable cost has given us the opportunity to cater some of the most exquisite weddings, photo shoots, business networking events as well as local community parks.
Prior to joining forces we’ve worked as prep and line cooks in restaurants, as well as personal chefs for private clients. We have attended some of the best culinary institutes in California. Collectively we bring over 20 years experience in catering and fine dining; in addition to being fully insured and holding serv safe certification.
We have experience working with the top chefs in the industry.
Gourmet Paper Plates started creating meals for large groups in 2016 preparing food for the Los Angeles Taste of Soul, which hosts thousands of event attendees. Gourmet Paper plates chefs have participated as chef’s apprentices in the Los Angeles 2019 All Star Chef Classic.
In the six years Gourmet Paper Plates has been in business we have catered to thousands of customers thru weddings,business lunches, networking events, product launches and various community events . We pride ourselves on providing meals using the freshest ingredients and highest quality food.
We have been working with Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation Parks after Dark program for over four years. We started contracting to teach cooking classes at just one park. Our engagement with students and parents inspired park staff to increase the number of parks we taught.. We have since grown to teach cooking classes at 11 Los Angeles County Parks.
We are a people based service and everything we do is centered around God’s love. We truly believe that preparing food both nourishes the body and soul!
