Business Description

My Entrepreneurial vision came to life in 2019 as HoneyBee Cosmetics, selling false lashes out of my bedroom of our small townhouse in Chattanooga,Tennessee at the age of 16, my friends and school and my mother’s coworkers loved the idea of me creating a small business. I was working part time making $300 a week selling perfume at the mall while also attending school full time. I knew early that I didn’t want to work under someone else my entire life and the idea of passive income and making a name for myself through a business was a fire that I knew I could fuel.I gathered my savings and made the decision to invest in myself. I started selling synthetic lashes for $5 each and after 6months, I took ?my part-time checks to invest in selling 100% natural lashes and also redesigned my packaging,logo and mission statement on my own. Because of the pandemic I had to put a hold to HoneyBee Cosmetics and also focus on after high school plans, now I live in Atlanta Georgia, and was attending Spelman College for my freshman year, after completing my first year I then came to the realization that I could not afford for me to attend another 3 years paying my own tuition. So I decided to reinvest and pull my all into my business. In Expanding my brand and renaming it HoneyBee Beauty By Essie M, I now have a sold out eyewear collection and have been faithfully applying to grants to  receive funding to launch a collection of custom stainless steel gold jewelry as well as custom purses with a minimalistic aesthetic to spread the message that less can be more when it comes to beauty and fashion, while boosting self confidence day by day in my customers I apply for many grants in hopes that I receive funding to make HoneyBee Beauty By Essie M. A Well-known brand that touches the hearts of millions around the world!
