Business Description

JP’s Scrubs & Accessories was created by Josie Elmore to provide those in need of quality, stylish, and affordable scrubs and accessories. Josie began her journey in the medical field over 20 years ago, and is currently a RN & Respiratory Therapist. She is joined by her daughter, Shermekia Elmore, who has been a hair braider for 20+ years as well. Together the two understand the demand but limited supply for quality work apparel, so they decided to join forces and create JP’s Scrubs & Accessories.

Josie Elmore has been working in the medical field for 20+ years. She is currently working as a traveling Registered Nurse, but is also licensed as a Respiratory Therapist. Josie also served in the US Army, and after working in many healthcare facilities including hospitals and rehabilitation hospitals, she understands the importance of having comfort and quality work wear.

Shermekia Elmore has enjoyed braiding hair since age 13. She also has a Medical Receptionist Certificate. With 20+ years as a hair braider, she is proud to team up with her mom, (Josie), and provide quality products to professionals in need of scrubs and accessories. Standing on her feet 8+ hours to complete some braid styles helps her understand the importance of having comfortable footwear as well as scrubs.
