Business Description
I am the owner of a Nail Doctor, LLC a luxury nail suite located in Maplewood, Mo. I started my Journey in 2020. The summer of 2021, I spent my summer attending school to become a licensed nail tech. A few months after I graduated I decided I would to step out on faith and open up my own suite, so in June 2022, I did just that. Although I do nail enhancements and manicures, my area of specialty is pedicuring.
Currently, I still teach and I run my business after work and on weekends. As an educator, I often find myself educating my clients on products and services. Also, as a life long learner I continue to seek more education so that I can keep abreast of current trends to enhance the services that I offer. I have recently completed additional training and received the following certificates: Advanced Nail Technician, Medical Nail Technician, and Footcare Nail Technician. My salon suite is also national certified as a designated Certified Safe Salon. This certification indicates a specified set of safety criteria is continuously met. One of the criteria being the use of an autoclave, a machine used to sterilize equipment and supplies by using high pressure steam.
