Business Description
Founded in 2012, Pups on The Runway is a nonprofit 501(c)(3). We host events, fundraisers for Rescues, pet pantries and giveaways for the community.
Betty Boop aka BB – my maltese, was the inspiration for the company. Sadly, BB passed in August 2022. I started hosting fundraisers after BB and I attended a charity event and realized how much fun it would be to help Shelters and Animal Organizations and our community in need. Our first event was a Halloween Costume Ball at the Roger Smith Hotel & we have not looked back since.
We have held 2 signature events, Puppy Prom and Society Paws Awards and co-produced Doggies and Tiaras with Roberto Negrin of Heclin Couture.
BB (Betty Boop) got a sister named CiCi, who we rescued from Yorkie 911 in 2014. When BB passed, CiCi got a sister named Tinky in January, 2023. They are the CPO’s (Chief Pup Officer’s) for Pups on the Runway and they are doing an amazing job.
We are honored and blessed to have met many wonderful people and made some extraordinary friendships. These are the same people that want to help pups in need, and we are grateful that they support our efforts by either attending our events or making a donation to the charity.
