The TSHEF’s success in promoting education in Toba Tek Singh allowed them to launch yet another interesting new project. On May 25, 2015, TSHEF received approval from the Government of Sindh to open Salim Habib University (formerly Barrett Hodgson University) in Karachi. Salim Habib University will provide specialised programmes in the fields of biomedical engineering, biological sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, ICT, and management sciences. In the Korangi Creek Area, there is a purpose-built, multi-story complex (Karachi). Future leaders can find a warm, reflective environment at the Salim Habib University.
