Business Description

Smarties LLC is a youth center located in Winston-Salem, NC.

Smarties is owned a operated by licensed professionals. Our slogan “The kid’s place!” summarizes Smarties’ mission. Our mission is to be a place where children feel safe, are learning and having fun. We strive to be a center where children want to return!  

Smarties’ services includes our Remote Learning Program, After School Program, Summer Camp, Spring Break Camp, Drop-in Child Care, Kid’s Night Out and more!!

Child Safety

Child safety is first priority at Smarties. We have cameras installed outside as well as inside of the center. We also maintain a discipline policy that is in the best interest of all children.

Director

 Talaya McManus found Smarties in 2015 under the name Mini Camp. Talaya’s vision is to provide services for parents and families that are quality and serve as a safe haven for children. Since the start in 2015 Smarties has expanded to provide more services for parents and families. Talaya is a graduate of WSSU with a bachelor’s degree in Education and holds a Professional Educator’s License issues by the state of North Carolina. Talaya is also a certified level III administrator.
