Business Description
My name is Alice Cook, and I am the CEO of Solidarity for Justice Consulting. My business provides consulting services on the data and evaluation design, implementation, and evaluation for nonprofits, grant writing, data collection, determining key programming and organizational objectives as well as how aligned current data gathering tools and systems are to the objectives, and program evaluation.
A key component to my business is that I hire research assistants who are members of the community being served by the nonprofit and teach them the skills required for planning, implementing, and reporting on program evaluation.
My aim is to build my community, share knowledge, and empower local communities with the skills to do this work themselves! As Audre Lorde says, none of us are free until all of us are free. And that requires sharing expertise and knowledge when I have it and collaborating closely with community to build on their areas of expertise and knowledge – we are collaborators!
