The FRiENDSHiP FACTOR is a community support group offering year-round events and a 6-week summer inclusion camp promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion for neurodiverse children and their families. Consulting with behavioral and occupational therapists to develop a program curriculum encouraging social emotional development, physical activity, sensory play, and creative projects to encourage curiosity, self-confidence, teambuilding, and belonging through shared experiences and peer support, The FRiENDSHiP FACTOR was co-founded by Culver City Moms of autistic boys and disability advocates. They identified a white space in special need’s social skills training for more enriching, cultural, creative, and fun experiences that could spur authentic social interaction, conscious connections for kids and families, and serve as a pathway to fostering friendships for individuals with and without disabilities.
