Business Description
My name is Stacie Johnson. I am a single mother of 5. This vision came to light when my middle child Velvette was diagnosed with a rare lung disease called MD5 at the age of 17. During this time, she had so many life altering changes occur. She was hospitalized and had to revive a double lung transplant at 17. She had to get a trachea, she had to relearn how to eat, speak and walk. My daughter loved to eat food that was how she expressed herself. She loved comfort food. At the age of 18 her newfound lungs were in rejection, and she was given less then 6 months to live, and she needed another transplant. Unfortunately, due to Covid she wasn’t able to obtain those new lungs. On Thanksgiving Day 11/26/2020 she took her last breath. I made a promise to my child that her legacy would be remembered. This is how I came of the idea for Velvette soul on the go. My child was so full of life, and she loved this world and by cooking her favorite meals the world would get a chance to see how much she appreciated earth
