Business Description

Through artwork and digital media content, VISORIES empowers women of color through art. As I like to say, “We are all connected by our stories, the more stories I tell visually, the closer I feel to other women of color”. This is what VISORIES is all about. 

There are so many women, especially women of color, who feel like their voices don’t matter. VISORIES’s goal is to acknowledge women of color through artwork. It is the love of their culture, resilience, history and future that fuels the underlying mission of VISORIES.  This is essentially why VISORIES exists today, to provide opportunities for black women to learn self-love from within. My artwork is a reflection of the strength and resilience of black women. Unfortunately, black women still face a hostile world of negative stereotypes, systemic racism, and pressuring expectations. VISORIES provides women of color a strong mirror reflection of their confidence, power and beauty through art. 

 

I am establishing an inclusive community to support all women of color. 

VISORIES is setting in motion the processes to both collectively and individually heal from generational trauma and to create a legacy for ourselves through art. The Black woman is no longer the most neglected person anymore, but in fact is respected, acknowledged and seen.
