Women on a Mission for Change is a non profit that serves women and girls (ages 14-18) by inclusively bridging women and girls to achieve their full potential and become empowered leaders of a greater community. WMC hosts an annual conference with speakers to provide resources and opportunities for women and girls to grow in the areas of Education, Careers health, spirituality and much more. The annual gala focuses on honoring women over the age of 50 for their legacies and all they have done for their communities.
WMC also has a group mentoring program for girls 14-18 years old. It is a 1-2 year program that meets once a month as a group to teach them how to love themselves, and how to present themselves. We focus on professional preparedness by including resume creation, motivational speaking and so much more. The girls meet as a group and mentor each other through the processes of the process they are working on. If they meet all assigned criteria they become eligible to receive a 500. scholarship for college of their choice
