Business Description

Hi, I’m Jonathan, a cool, laid back and devoted husband, whose wife bought me my first personal candle as a garnishment for my man cave a couple of years ago.

(In hindsight, I think the cave just kinda had that “manlike” smell and she was over it, so she disguised the candle as a gift. lol)

 

Nonetheless, on a whim one day I actually lit it (’cause you know us men sometimes just let stuff sit and collect dust… or seasoning as I call it, ha!) and realized in that moment that she’d just exposed me to something I’d been missing out on my whole life, yet never even knew it. The luxury of a scented space that screamed…”a man lives here too.”

Don’t get me wrong, my wife is GREAT at keeping bomb scents on hand, but the scents honestly don’t resonate with a man, perse

That scent discovery experience was magical and I loved my candle so much…I started calling it a “MANdle.” Then it hit me.

How many other men, husbands and fathers wish they had scents that said “a man lives here?”

I decided to become the self-appointed “MANdler” (Handler of Candles for Men) that are specifically designed with men in mind.

Manlike Candles was born.

We’re a small black-owned candle business, who believes…it deserves to smell like a man lives there too! 🙂
