Teren Carswell is the President and Chief Executive Officer of TGS Signature BBQ Sauce, LLC. He is a veteran and has worked in public service for over 18 years. Teren has volunteered and worked in leadership positions for various non-profit organizations and has assisted with youth mentoring programs within his community. He has been recognized for his commitment, integrity, and dedication toward helping others maximize their full potential.
In 2019, Teren was called to duty by the United States Army. During the deployment, the world was ravaged by the COVID-19 Pandemic. After being honorably discharged, Teren returned home. Teren found it difficult to transition back to the civilian world. During that same transition, Teren loss several friends and family members in a short span of time due to COVID-19. One of his key supporters was his grandmother, Mrs. Hattie Mae Crawford (April 24, 1925 – April 17, 2021).
Teren was overwhelmed with grief. To cope with his anxiety and deep depression, he had to delve deep within to find his passion. That passion was to create flavorful sauces for friends and family to enjoy.
Thus, in April of 2021, TGS Signature BBQ Sauce, LLC was established.
